A series of regional events are planned during June and July

Aim:

To engage cross sector stakeholders in the development of the IQF by sharing key proposals and discussing their implications.

Objectives:

Through participation on the day delegates will have:

Discussed the design principles and proposed inclusion criteria and shared values for the IQF

Learnt about the QCA Qualifications and Credit Framework and IQF trial units

Considered the issues for transferability, mutual recognition of prior learning and achievement and career progression

Shared existing practice, aspirations and barriers in developing diverse and flexible progression routes for the children’s workforce

Shared current experiences of integrated service delivery and the potential impact on qualification systems

Made a contribution on known and emerging inter-professional programmes

Raised specific sector issues critical to the success of IQF

Identified ways of promoting the benefits of the IQF through an effective communications strategy
